Things to consider before your consultation:

The bra should...

  • Fit on the loosest set of hooks so when it begins to stretch with time you can tighten it.

  • Stay in place without moving when you lift your arms.

The cups should...

  • Be filled by the breast leaving no loose fabric, without bulging at the bottom top or side.

The shoulder straps should...

  • Fit closely to the body without digging into the skin.

The under band should...

  • Fit closely to the body but not too tight or too loose.

  • Be the same level at the back and front.

FITTING SERVICE

All Liberty staff are professionally trained in bra fitting. We know the correct fitting of your prosthesis depends on whether you are wearing a correctly fitting bra. For this reason all of our prostheses are custom fitted at our Bridgend clinic. This is critical for the success and ultimate comfort of your prosthesis.

Whilst we stock a range of bras for the fitting, we do not sell the bras. However, we can provide the information of where to buy the bra you have been fitted with if you wish to do so.
